CAT4 test description

    • Verbal reasoning (“Verbal classification” and “Verbal analogies” blocks)
    • Quantitative reasoning (numerical series and numerical analogies blocks)
    • Non-verbal thinking (“Classification of figures” and “Matrices of figures” blocks)
    • Spatial abilities (“Shape Analysis” and “Shape Recognition” blocks).
  • Assesses a candidate's mental ability without requiring a high level of skill in text analysis or arithmetic.
  • The duration of CAT4 is 120 minutes. CAT4 results are important for educational institutions, as they provide an objective assessment of a student's intellectual level and learning abilities. This information helps teachers to develop individual educational plans for each student, taking into account their strengths and weaknesses. The report created after taking the test contains information about the scores for each of the aspects tested, the candidate's learning preferences, and a transcript of the results indicating the most likely grades that could be achieved in A-Level and IB exams.
